Financial Aid
Barrow Street's Scholarship Program allows us to offer access to an economically diverse community. We are proud of this program, and know that parents and children benefit greatly from this commitment. It offers us an opportunity to enroll a community of diverse talents and occupations.
Grants are "need-based" only and are determined by Barrow Street and the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (known as SSS) located in Princeton, New Jersey. Children currently receive grants ranging from approximately 10% to 100% of full tuition, depending on the demonstrated disposable family income. Scholarships are awarded each year to approximately 15% of students.
Admissions decisions are made without regard to whether a family has placed an application for Financial Aid. However, acceptance to the School does not guarantee the School's ability to meet the financial need of every candidate.
Parent(s)/Guardian(s) interested in applying for financial aid must submit A Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) in addition to the required tax materials listed below. SSS analyzes a family's financial information to determine how much they can afford to pay towards tuition and then forwards the results to us.

Please fill out the PFS on-line at sss.nais.org. The results of the PFS form must be received by the Barrow Street Admissions Office by February 1, 2012 for candidates to be considered for financial aid.
School and Student Services (SSS) Application Process

2. Submit an SSS application online before February 1, 2012.

(For overnight mail, use this address: SSS by NAIS, Application Processing Center, 437 Turnpike Street, Canton, MA 02021.) Do NOT send to Barrow Street.
Required Documents include:
-Completed 2010-2011 Federal Income Tax Returns (1040)
-Copies of all 2011 W-2s
-Copy of trust agreement, if applicant has assets in a trust fund
-Business Tax Returns for 2010 and 2011, if you own a business
All Tax Returns must be signed.
