Services

The program's primary objective is to help individuals overcome addiction to narcotics and other substances. Taking medication (methadone) is an important part of services that are provided, which include:

Medical care
Psychiatric evaluation
Individual and family counseling
Group counseling
Key Extended Entry Program (KEEP)
Vocational services

Our knowledgeable staff dispenses physician-prescribed doses of methadone medication to patients. Counseling that addresses psycho-social issues is available on site to assist patients with recovery. The length of treatment is determined on an individual basis and is based upon progress and attendance.

Monday, Wednesday - Friday: 6:15 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.
Tuesday: 6:15 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Working Patients
Monday - Friday: 6:30 - 8:00 a.m.
Saturday: 8:45 - 11:45 a.m.

Non-working Patients
Monday, Wednesday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
Tuesday: 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 - 1:15 p.m.
Saturday: 8:45 - 11:45 a.m.

Fees

Fees for services are calculated on a sliding scale. Medicaid insurance is also accepted.

License and Accreditation

Greenwich House Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program is accredited by CARF, the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, is licensed by the New York Office of Substance Abuse Services, and is certified by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Center for Substance Abuse Treatment.
