Greenwich House Mental Health Program

When Greenwich House opened the Mental Health Project in 1987, it was the first program of its kind to provide specialized mental health services around HIV and AIDS issues. Today, we continue to serve this population, as well as provide mental health services for adults struggling with mental illness, histories of substance abuse, trauma, medical and other life issues.

Each client receives one-on-one treatment that allows them to work through their struggles with a personalized level of care. Our staff recognize that many clients struggle with other issues in addition to their health, including incarceration, homelessness, and substance abuse, and treat each person seeking service with the utmost respect and sensitivity.

Read an important message from the Primary Care Initiative (PCI), which will close its doors on December 20, 2011.
