Established in New York City in 1909, Greenwich House Pottery is one of the city’s most important centers for ceramic arts. In addition to classes for all ages, The Pottery provides workshops, lectures, exhibitions, and outreach to enrich and inform our community. The mission of Greenwich House Pottery is to be that rare place where people of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels can develop their creativity. For example: Educational programs cultivate imaginative problem solving skills, develop self-assurance, and form social, neighborhood, and community bonds. Exhibitions and events support ceramic artists working within in traditional and non-traditional genres. We encourage you to take a class or drop in during a gallery opening or an exhibition.
